In an emergency, I nearly always have fruit cakes slowly maturing, so can produce a decorated cake at short notice. These days Rich Fruit Cakes don’t necessary need to be matured and can be made to order within a week subject to time availability. Its your personal choice!

However, cakes are made to order and therefore rich fruit cakes could be available for delivery one month before the event to make sure that they arrive safely and to give relatives a chance to drool over them and you can enjoy the “coos” and “ahhhhhhhhhhs” ….. and you never know ………. a contribution from Grandma !!!

Sponge Cakes have a short shelf life and therefore can only be made during the week of your Wedding or Event.

Stacked sponge cakes can only be delivered by arrangement.

Combination Choice of Fruit and Sponge cakes; You can choose to have all fruit, all sponge, or fruit and sponge cakes of different tiers. In the assembly of a stacked, fruit, sponge or combination the fruit cake does not have to be the bottom tier.

Ignore the fallacy stated by some cake makers that you cant put a fruit cake on the top or that it must be the bottom tier, when combined with sponge cakes; they don’t know what they are talking about and lack the experience or knowledge of a professional cake maker in the assembly of a stacked cake.

Transport Boxes ... All Cakes come with specialist boxes for transport. I like to know that my cakes arrive at their destination as you would expect and deserve.

Delivery Service ... I provide a personal delivery service to your venue or a destination of your choice for a small extra charge; the final cost will depend upon your location. This service takes away the worry on your Special Day that your cake will arrive in perfect condition.

Cakes can be delivered by arrangement throughout Norfolk, Essex, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire; I will travel throughout East Anglia and down to London from Norfolk as far as the M25/M11 Brentwood junction.

I can PERSONALLY deliver and set up anywhere as above, the costs based on a round trip which pays for my time and petrol; ask for a quote. Alternatively, for anyone further afield, I am happy to arrange to meet on the road for handover.

Venue Set up ... For a small extra charge, this would include me personally taking the cake or cakes directly to your reception venue and setting up on the cake table ready, or on the stand ready for you to cut, leaving you with one less thing to worry about.

Collect in Person ... If you prefer, you may collect your cake from me. I am located just off the A12 at Hopton-on-Sea on the eastern Suffolk/Norfolk border; Hopton lies between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth on the coast.

Delivery by Courier ... I don’t know of any courier who would or could guarantee safe delivery.
