

Depending on the type of cake required, I use a recipe of either a Traditional Victoria Sponge or Madeira cake base.
Moist Madeira cake base for a Wedding or Celebration cake with marzipan and icing. Or no marzipan if you prefer.
The choice of flavoured sponges and fillings are endless and left to your imagination.
Traditionally sponges are Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon, Orange or even Coffee.
Fillings can be the same to match the cakes

Jam and flavoured Cream fillings are available to name but a few ….

My traditional cakes are split and filled once with butter cream icing.
If your cake will be the main dessert, or even served with ice cream or sorbet we recommend one of our sumptuous dessert cakes. They are split and filled three times with our special fillings and flavoured butter creams
