I have designed this web site to give as much detail as possible on basic cost and you will find the price for each cake size and shape in the pricing chart.

 

• How much cake will you need; i.e. how many portions,
• What type of cake: Sponge Cake or Rich Fruit Cake
• What shape - Round, Square, Heart, Octagon, Hexagon, Oval, and even Wedding Bells?
• To work out the required cake sizes, first go to my portions guide and size chart; here you can establish the cake sizes needed.

Having worked out the cake sizes and number of cake tiers required and whether you would like Rich Fruit or Sponge Cakes, follow the link to the pricing chart and this provides the basic cost of each cake.  The prices are for plain finished cakes with your choice of ribbon included.

All cakes can be adapted to suit a person’s budget.  If something is not mentioned this does not mean that it cannot be achieved.  So do please ask me a question either by email or contact me direct on 01502 733868.

 

The many design and display choices involving your cake will impact on the final cost and this will vary according to the cakes style.  Prices are affected by:  

 

· How many guests will attend the function

o What size cake and portions required – see this chart link

· What shape and style of cake.

o Style of modern, traditional or whimsical

· How it should be displayed: stacked, stand, pillars, separators, etc

· Will you require stand hire?

· What type of cake? Fruit, sponge and flavourings

· Dietary restrictions for allergies or religions

· What colours to match clothing or theme

· Designs to match lace, hobbies, or theme

o Drapes, Frills, Random Dots, other artwork?

· Words to suit the occasion in any language

· Royal Iced, fondant/Sugarpaste, chocolate
curls etc. NOTE:

o A Royal iced cake will be more expensive as twice the time is required

o Chocolate curls, Chocolate Sugarpaste, and pure chocolate cakes are more expensive and priced accordingly

 

I specialise in wired sugar flowers which are as lifelike as a bridal bouquet and colour match as far as possible.

· Sugar Flowers to reflect:

o Favourite blossoms

o Replicate past or soon to be bouquets

o Smaller sprays for the cutting knife

o Table settings

o If copying flowers that are being delivered to the venue, then a contact name and number of the florist would be useful.

 

Additional costs relate to the amount of detail or additional items such as wired sugar flowers, cake toppers, cake stand hire, supporting rods and internal HD boards for stacked, drapes, frills, or other embellishments.
